Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Your Mortgage Matters brought to you by Angel Oak Home Loans. I’m your host, Michael Chabot. Today is a short episode around being thankful. First and foremost, want to wish you all happy Thanksgiving with your friends, your families, your loved ones. Want to remind you all that this is a time to slow down to stop. Step away from your social media. Of course, after you listen to this podcast episode. Just really spend time with those that you love. Really be in the moment and enjoy those moments because we take things for granted. And I want to talk to you a little bit about this moment. And gratitude. It’s something you hear thrown around everywhere. But I truly believe that you should start every day with a gratitude practice. When I get up in the morning, I have a journal, I write down the things that I’m grateful for my family, my friends, all the blessings that I have in my life. And trust me I know some of you listening to this may be saying, Well, Michael, you don’t know this that’s going on in my life or you don’t know that that’s going on in my life. Trust me when I say you’re right, I do not know what’s going on in your life. But I have been through a great tragedy. And I still wake up every morning and have so many things to be grateful for. So I want to remind you, take a breath, take a pause. Look at all the blessings that you have in your life truly be grateful and thankful for those things. And I just want to start out with you guys and telling you that I’m grateful for you, my listeners, those of you listening to this podcast that are supporting us that are giving us comments. We thank you so much. We’re grateful and we’re thankful for you. I’m thankful for my team on the loan origination side that helps me every day. traverse this mountain known as the loan origination business. We’re truly blessed Of course, I’m thankful and grateful for my clients, my referral partners, the realtors, financial planners, CPAs builders that I work with, we’re so thankful and grateful for you, and the opportunity to serve you and your customers. I made some notes here, of course, I’m thankful for this team that helps me produce this podcast on the marketing side. You know, there’s people behind the scenes that edit it and do all those things. We have such a wonderful team. You guys know who you are. I’m so grateful and thankful for you and all the hard work you guys do. Of course, our operations staff on the loan side that helps us get loans closed efficiently and families into their homes. The management team that when problems do arise, they help us navigate those, those rough waters to get back into smooth waters and get everybody closed on time. Of course, my personal friends who support me who are always there for me, who hold me up when I need holding up. My teammates on my ice hockey team, those of you may not know I’m an avid ice hockey player, I’ve coached for a long time. I’m beyond grateful for those guys. They put up with me. They listen to my stories. And I’m beyond grateful. Of course my family, my wife, my children, my parents, my sister, I’m beyond grateful for my family and the support and love that they give me. And last but not least, I’m the most thankful and most grateful for my god who blesses me on a daily basis who allows me to get up every day, do this podcast, help people buy their homes, you know, refinance, put their kids through college, whatever it might be, I’m beyond grateful that I get to do this and I get to help you. So just a reminder, that coming into this holiday, just take a moment. Even if for one day, write down three things, five things 10 things that you’re grateful and thankful for, and read them every day. I promise you it makes a difference. It helps navigate this life that we’re all trudging through. And again, I’m more than thankful for you. Thank you for listening.
